April Fool's Day '06 - The End
While I certainly appreciate April Fool's Day and have thought about doing something RotDish for it the past couple of years, this was actually all Kat's doing. I wash my hands completely of the affair! If you thought it was in poor taste, at least. If you like it, then it was totally my idea. Totally. Anyway, what happened was I was still working on the hundredth strip at the time and it had already been a couple of weeks since the last strip had gone up, so Kat decided to be a mischevious little vixen and quickly slapped this comic together and posted it. Amazingly and despite the fact that I was thinking "surely they wouldn't", the crowd went wild, thinking it was for serious! After letting them dangle on the hook for a little bit, we went ahead and got everyone calmed down by assuring them that I was still in fact working on the next strip and that RotD would continue on as planned. It was pretty dang funny, I thought, so heck, maybe I will do something for next April Fools.
