General Info:

If two people were ever less likely to be friends, it would be Jim and Jammer. Where Jim is a whirlwind of impatient hot-tempered insane creative energy, Jammer is cool laidback passive just-plain-awesomeness. If Jammer were any cooler, he'd be a popsicle. If he were any more relaxed, he'd be in a coma. Somehow, however, this cool cat managed to befriend the tempestuous Jim, a relationship that ended up benifitting both of them through their discovery and mutal love for RPGs. It's during role-playing sessions, in fact, that the main reason their friendship has lasted so long becomes apparent. Jim's boundless energy keeps Jammer interested enough in everything so that he doesn't just chill out for the entire game (and, indeed, for the rest of his life), and Jammer's cool head is the only thing standing between Jim and mass murder charges.
Jammer is one cool dude, in a "permanently stuck in the 1980's" sort of way. Y'know, back when "cool" was playing air-guitar every five minutes. He's also one of the last guys you'd ever figure would play RPGs. He listens to heavy metal, dresses like James Dean, and keeps his personal hygeine levels above reproach at all times. If there ever was an anti-thesis to the typical gamer geek, Jammer is it. Yet somehow he finds just as much enjoyment and pleasure from playing a good gaming session as he would from watching a mindless action flick and, in fact, manages to be one of the best players in the group.
And by the by, the answer is yes, Jammer is his real name. He had it legally changed at the age of seven for reasons only he knows. He's never revealed what his original name is, his parents have never been reached for comment, and Jim claims to have forgotten it a long time ago.
