If ever someone was born to be an archnemesis, it's Bob Sage, and he fills that role exactly for our erstwhile hero, Jim. Sage grew up in an very strict family and, for some inexplicable reason, decided later in life to try and communicate that strictness to everyone around him. He almost sees himself as the personal saviour of every human being that comes into, and wishes to spread his influence even further. In the end, he does have good intentions, but his methods of imparting his viewpoint is severely lacking. Basically, he's rude, crude, and socially unacceptable. He refuses to see other peoples' viewpoints, shouts his own at the top of his lungs, and ends up insulting the people he's preaching to . . . even if it isn't his true intention.
One of his favorite targets, of course, is the devilishly evil player of the arcane and unholy RPG.
